The customer should consult the manufacturer when the top limit of air temperature
is over +40Ąć and the lower limit of the air temperature is below -10Ąć or -25Ąć.
2. Ambient temperature:
-5ĄÍ - +40ĄÍ; the average value within 24h shall not exceed +35ĄÍ. Relative humidity at +40
ĄÍ shall not exceed 50%. Higher humidity is permissible at lower temperature condition.
When the highest monthly average relative humidity is 90% in the humiddest month,
the lowest monthly average temperature of this month is +25ĄÍ. And the influence of dew on product
surface due to
temperature changes should be taken into consideration.
3. Altitude of installation place shall not exceed 2000m.
4. Pollution grade: grade iii.
5. Installation instruction: vertically installations and the vertical angle shouldnĄŻt
exceed 22.5.

ÁůĄ˘operating principle
When the side voltage relay of main power changes, the side voltage relay of standby
power works and switch on its
time relay, then turns on the middle relay to supply power for its rectifier bridge after
a certain of delay, and drives control loop electrical wires, thus the switch acts, the loop
of main power is disconnected. When the main power turns to normal, its voltage relay
works turns on the middle relay to supply power for its rectifier bridge after a certain of
delay, and drives control loop electrical wires, thus the switch acts, then the standby
power is cut and the main power supply restores.
Ćߥ˘construction of switch
This series of HZQ5-40/630 automatic transfer switches are consisted of auxiliary contact and main contact
combined through the mechanical drive. Under the exact and rational design, the
electrical equipment and the machine link together at the same time to make sure that
the main power and the standby power wonĄŻt be turned on simultaneously. The main
contact is made of Silver-tungsten Alloy and Silver-Tungsten Carbide which have strong arc-resistance, so their lifetime can be prolonged. WhatĄŻs more, arcing ability is strong
and it can be transferred live and can be also transferred by hand through operating
handle 2. It adopts electromagnetic driving and DC Pulse system so that it can play an
important role in reducing the ageing of coins and saving electric energy. The electrical
clearance and creepage distance meets the standards with the function of insulation.
A1,A2 and B1,B2 are two groups of control powerĄŻs connection ports, and A3,B3 are
indicative terminals of two power sourcesĄŻ close-break and provide users with two groups of auxiliary contacts(A4,A5,B4,B5) for other utilities.
